Which style of font to use for a screenplay?

Discussion in 'Scripts and screenplays' started by jdearman777, Jun 5, 2017.

Are there any other acceptable fonts these days - other than New Courior? Or is that still the best one to use when writing a screenplay????

I believe that the meta is still New Courior. It's the cleanest type font for screenplays, and its just the standard that has been around for a long time. In reality, I don't think it really matters what font you use, but I would go with NC just to keep with the standard. Or at least when you submit it change it and format it to NC. But what you go with is completely up to you :)

Thanks , that's what I normally do, I just wanted to make sure the industry still follows NC or if there were other acceptable ones. thanks.
