Hey guys I'm currently editing a short story mystery. Its about two men who get locked in a basement and the solution to get out is on one of the tatoos that says L-O-V-E and I need idea for the letter E. The clues are all about objects in the basement just so you can unsterstand what I'm doing here. I need the letter E one to be complicated and hard to solve. Forgive me cause I'm new at this. If i could get some ideas I'd really appreciate it, thanks and have a great day!
Basement of a house or commercial building? And what kind? We need more of a clue before we can help. The items would be very different from the basement of a bank to a chemical plant, to a hardware store to a gymnasium. It would also help a lot if we had some idea of the nature of the clues. Is it like Sucker Punch, where they were supposed to gather the items to help them escape? If so we'd need to know what the other items are and then we'd have some idea of what the final one needs to be.
Also, "make this clue harder" or "make this clue more difficult". Post a question to a group of writers, expect to get feedback on writing.
Electromagnetism? Electricity? Surely there's a plug socket in the basement. Although im with Xoic and JD, you need to explain what you want more out of the clues. Who has the tattoo? How do you want the clues delivered? You want us to just guess words for the letter E until you find one that sounds uncommon? A dictionary might be your friend for that
