Grammar Unsure of word/phrase to use

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by -NM-, Dec 23, 2015.

If you had, say a building or a structure (or anything really), which was alone, with just flat ground all around it - is there a word or phrase that you can use to describe "every direction away from it".

For example if I wanted to say there was nothing but grass spreading out in every direction away from it.

I feel like there is a word for this but I can't remember what it is.

    Thanks.

... circumscribed by a wide/endless field of grass...
    ... surrounded by grass...
... with an omnidirectional spread of grass...
... grass spread in all directions...
From it, grass spread in a peregrination, intent on all points of the compass.

This may sound a bit too academic/scientific, but the words "isotropic" and "homogeneous" may work.
