I have a really big cup, straight hot water, 4 teaspoons of sugar and 2 of coffee. No splash of cold, that is grose. I like it scorching hot No milk, but every so often, a splash of Cougar....mmmm nummy!
My favorite way? A double espresso, thick and black and hot, with the creme (foam) still forming a caramel-colored island on top.
In the can A few years ago I gave up caffeine because it makes my heart race and my hands shake. I've broken that a few times to have a soda or two, but I really don't like coffee anymore!
The only time I'll drink coffee when it is 1 part coffee, 3 parts hot chocolate. I'm much more of a tea kinda girl though. I've been drinking herbal recently, once you get used to the nasty taste they are kinda nice.
Have you ever tried passion tea? I guess it's not really 'herbal' tea, but it's delicious. Especially if you add in a little bit of lemon!
Passion tea at Starbucks is delicious! I'm more of a tea drinker then a coffee drinker really. I like black tea, green tea, un-sweetened ice tea, earl grey, and just about any other interesting flavor you put in front of me.
I like it however my dad makes it. Sometimes my brother uses his coffee maker, but I've never tasted his coffee before. I hear it's good. I don't usually like hot drinks, though. I prefer cold drinks. Iced coffee. Iced tea. Especially iced green tea. Not the Lipton stuff. That's gross. I like the kind that comes in the teabag. I might have to give up caffeine soon, though. I might have Meniere's Disease and caffeine can make it worse. And if I have too much caffeine, my heart goes all weird and skips beats and stuff.
Although i only drink coffee on sunday before church, and before sunday school, I like mine with lots of cream and sugar, although I've lightened up on it a bit.
I don't drink coffee. I can't stand the smell of it either. I have to leave the house when hubby brews a pot. I am addicted to Coca-Cola, however. I don't drink water...well, rarely drink water (fish screw in water...eww), I will drink tea if it's sweetened, but not hot tea.
A lot of people I know have to drink brewed coffee. I, however, prefer 'instant coffee'. (any brand) I've been drinking IC for decades and as long as the caffeine does its thing, who cares? I put a little cream in it – just enough to make it a saddle brown color – and that's good enough for me. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of sugar. Sometimes I add a heaping teaspoon of Ovaltine! Whoo hoo! Around where I live we have WAWA (Native American for 'goose') convenience stores and they have several different flavors of coffee and flavored cream, etc. You can have your steenking Starbucks. I would rather throw my money away on gas than coffee!
