    One at a time.
But I read about 56 books in one week. I can complete eight books each day.

    Or Jesus?

I suppose I'm proposing a question. I just put that there to fill in space. It may or not be "correct".

I let my mood dictate what I read so I have a bunch around.

    2 history
    2 humor
    1 economics
    1 nature study

There are more, some next to my bed, on the coffee table, and next to the lazy boy. Not to mention finance & personal development stuff that I graze on.

They have at least 50 or 60 chapters.

I read, do my homework, and live in WF.org.

    That is all I do.
I swim and I am taking martial arts.

Leaka I think you must skim the books and not read every word.
    Not knocking it just commenting.
I read at about 1000 wpm according to tests done while I was in school and I never came
close to 56 books a week.
10 Nancy Drew was pretty much my limit.

I read about 56 books a year. 56 books a week sounds a little excessive. Do you sleep?

Providing you go to school, you get home around I'd say 1:30-2:00 PM. That leaves you with 16 hours before your next school day in order to read 8 books.

Do you have a Guiness record?

    I read alot

but the texts in which I read are everything but novels.

I'm generally too lazy to read novels.

It seems a little steep I do admit

However I did have this friend who was addicted to novels.. she learnt to speed read so she could get through them faster- she used to eat through about three novels a day during weekdays and five novels a day during weekends...

so who am I to judge aye.

But 15 novels on weekdays and 10 on weekends still come to 25 novels per week (yay maths! :p) . That's why I say Leaka can leave his mark on mankind as the fastest reader on Earth :p

i think we scared leaka off by bringing reality to bear on his/her claim... beware of exaggeration, kids!... as the bit of russian folk wisdom goes, 'you can't hide an awl in a basket'... anyone needing help figuring that out, see me after class...

    love 'n hugs, m
