hi I've not posted any of my story yet on here so before i do i have few questions 1. how long should a chapter be? at the mo my chapters vary from almost 4,000 to 5,000 2. when posting on here do i post all the chapter or bits of it? is there a word count? 3. if i edit the chapter it the bits that i post do i write in the comments the amended work or do i amend on the main post?
I think the rules are that first you need to give 2-3 critiques for someone else before posting your own. Double check but should be something like that. Post a good portion, first chapter is usually the best unless it is super long. 2k words is more than enough to give decent advice. Main post edits, easier for people.
Two critiques for each piece of work that you post. A piece can be a short story or a chapter from your novel. @CariF - why don't you check out the novels subforum and see what other people have posted.
