    Howard's End (BBC Miniseries)

Now that we have cable again at the house, I've been catching this miniseries on Starz. The film version of this story by E.M. Forster had such an excellent cast that I didn't hold much hope for a "lesser" version, but how wrong I was! I think this version captures, much better, the underlying theme of the original book, the discombobulation and sense of being untied as everyone moves one step up the social ladder. Delightfully well-told
