I don't really like doing these intro posts, but I decided this might be polite. Anyways, I am a self-diagnosed internet junkie, a horrible writer, the features editor for my college newspaper, and horribly completely pitifully writer's blocked right now. I'm sort of waiting for the creative writing urge to smack me upside the head. Am I the only person who gets creativity in random bursts that hit him like a truck?
No, my dear. I am going through that very experience right now. Sometimes I refer to my current story as a bad lover. It takes and takes and doesn't give anything back so I broke up with it for a bit. I'll take him back but for now, I'm trying to find inspiration somewhere else. I did have a really interesting dream last night. that's a good start. It may be the makings of a really great story. So maybe we'll find our inspiration together or with the help of others here. Hi there. Huh. What to say to that.... <crickets> Hopefully you'll find some inspiration from this site. At the very least you can look around and maybe pick up some tips. Also, heres an excellent series of essays for writing.
