Hello! Before I wear you down with my efforts, congrats to all of you who make the effort to share your thoughts in words Cheers Stephen
Warm welcome to you Stephen! I wish I was scribing my thoughts at 15, unfortunately, I just saw it as homework back then. *sigh* Also, it's hard to wear out your welcome at WF, I've tried often enough. The citizens here are very tolerant and helpful, so please don't hesitate to ask for help. If you haven't already, you should head over to WF biweekly competitions and share some more thoughts: https://www.writingforums.org/writing-contests/ Here at WF, we especially love voters. Have fun and hope to see you posting, Linny

Ooooops sorry LinnyV! I'm 56! Guess I had an attack of "just click anything to get signed up". Always possible with website forms. My sincere apologies but thanks for the good wishes. I was writing a bit when I was fifteen, that IS true. Too many gaps in between though to be productive. My father is writing a novel now at 86 and says he wished he started earlier, I reckon I better take my opportunity then
Whaaaaaaaaaa?! You went from 15 in my mind to 56... hehe Well, being on the other end of the spectrum is equally as interesting. I so know what you mean too about starting earlier. I started at early 30-ish. Although, I don't think I did any writing in all that time until the last 3-6 months. And I am 39. lol So it some ways it doesn't even matter when you start if you're not writing anything useful or regularly!
Yeah, back then I used to worry deeply about writing something good, important, meaningful etc. I think I was taking it way to seriously. Now I just write what pops into my head. Much easier and much more enjoyable!
