    Human and Monster Girl World

Discussion in 'Setting Development' started by MilesTro, Aug 3, 2019.

What do you think a fantasy world would be like if all the humans are men, and the women are all monster girls? They can still procreate with each other, but not all of them get along. Monster men do not exist, unless a mad scientist figures out a way to break the natural order. Why are they like this? Perhaps a curse turned all the women into monsters to conquer the world. But that didn't work out well. Monster girls can be civilized and wild. What do you think?

Where cushions are comfy, and straps hold firm.
Well if they can procreate, then hybrids kinda exist by defacto,
    and don't need science intervening.
Could be a genetics thing having to do with some kind of chemical
in a source of food or water that only targets women maybe?
Interesting idea, now all you have to do is put it to the page. :)

"Monster girl" is very broad and I've seen it describe everything from women who are half-spider to slime girls to pretty much everything else. So what kind are we talking?

Heh! I love it. Bizarre settings are cool. And all women being unique and powerful is a nice change of pace to how it works in a lot of fiction.

Think Monster Musume. All the women are hybrid monsters. Men are only humans, but they can breed with the monster women. Hybrids I meant are monster men. They don't exist unless a mad scientist created one.

I guess it could work. What is the plot or the point of the tale set in this world? That will have a large impact on whether it will work or not.

The setting is for an exotic gamelit story about a dying girl who transfers her consciousness into a VRMMORPG to continue living. But her minds get uploaded into the wrong game world, and she finds herself inside the body of a succubus monster girl. In the game world, humans are all men, and monsters are all girls. Players have the option of slaying monster girls or making love to them to level up. As a succubus monster, the girl has to have sex with the players to level up. She can also do the same thing with the other monster girls. The MC doesn't like that, and she goes on a quest to get out of the game. I called the story My New Life as an Online Succubus.

You've demonstrated the problem with your question.

If it's a VRMMORPG, then the world is exactly as the creators of the setting made it. It doesn't need to apply by any realistic logic, and any logic the world operates on is purely by design of the creators. Any reason the world is how it is is purely the story the game's writers made.

True, but the game still has its own lore to make it feel immersive.

Sounds like a Department of Social Sciences in some universities.
