    I go here

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by NoraTheBrave, Apr 10, 2019.

    Hello Everyone,

‘Have to admit I wasn’t going to join yet another forum, but the material on here has been enjoyable to skim through. (Yes, I lurked for a bit.) My initial search for “Writers who Roleplay” had this on my top results. I had been a member of another, albeit a more amateurish Roleplay forum, where I’ve occasionally received comments that went like:

“Did your hands hurt writing all that?”

As a writer who would sometimes use RP as a method of practice this sounded incredibly sad and lazy. I wouldn’t have it, and so here I am!

I’m much better on a one to one basis, so if anyone wants to discuss a story, I’m game.

Big part of discussion here is about some sub part. Plot and it's parts, character related, world building, writing process... Something.

I hope to see you in those discussions.

Hi Nora! Welcome to the Forum. Roleplaying is Another Planet to me—I write novels—but it's a very popular part of our forum. It looks as if that section has some separate rules from the ordinary forum Rules, so check the sticky thread at the top of the first Role Play thread. I'm sure you'll find lots of people on here to 'play' with! Have fun!

And if you haven't already done it, I'd recommend reading the New Member Guide before you dive in. To do that, just open up the Information tab at the top of the Community page, and scroll down to New Member Guide. You can also explore other bits of information as well in that area. Getting familiar with our forum rules, under the Rules section (also under Information) is a very good idea. It'll keep you right, on our ways of doing things.

    Maybe see you around? :)
