Good Morning all! My name is Mallory and I am very new to the world of forums, so I'm excited to get involved with all of you creative folks! For my "day job" I currently work in the office of the Registrar at a local university. I like it well enough but my passion has been in writing since day one, so I started just jotting ideas down, which grew into a story which then grew into a novel manuscript...then four. The writing itself has been wonderful and therapeutic and everything I hoped it would be, but I'm at a point now where I want to try to share it with a wider audience than just family and friends. I've just started the querying process in the last few weeks, and whoo boy is it ROUGH out there. The experience so far is showing me just how woefully unprepared I seem to be, so I am really hoping to read a lot here, join in some fruitful discussions and find some support in this community, where I'm sure many of you have faced these same challenges before.
