    Question I have a question.

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Cave Troll, Apr 15, 2017.

Since the guidelines in the Erotica section are vague on just nudity.
Would it be too much to ask whether it would be possible to post
something containing nudity in the Novels section?
Or would it have to be put default into the Erotica section?

I am just curio considering the fact that I would like to know
before posting a chunk from my novel in the wrong place.
It contains 0 sexual content, unless nudity falls under that
    broad blanket.

I know that it is perfectly fine to post highly graphic violence
in the Novels section. But what is the ruling on nudity in not
    such explicit detail?

    Thank you much.

It's the same everywhere. The media has always deemed graphic violence acceptable and 'non harmful', but a pair of boobies or penis.... oh noooooooo! Society will crumble.

Sounds about par for the course. Thanks. :)

As far as I can tell, it's okay as long as it's just a section and the whole thing isn't just nudity or sexual content intended to be "erotic". If it's a couple pages of highly detailed description on a naked body, maybe not, but a paragraph or so about someone that's naked I would think be okay. You aren't posting pictures of a naked person, you're posting a description of one. It's less offensive to the virgin minds of us Western folk... Americans are all you have to worry about, for some reason we're scared of sex...go figure.

Edit: Maybe put a disclaimer though?

It is 3 women sitting around nude. The MC and one
of the secondaries are having a discussion of sorts
about the sensitive nature of telling a synthetic person
about themselves, because they do not know. The other
secondary is the mediator and instigator of having it
done in this fashion, so that it is just between them
on a 'normal' level without dealing with rank or
possibly using a weapon if the MC reacts badly.
There is physical contact between all them, but it is
not meant to be taken in a sexual manner, as they
are not touching erogenous zones. Nor is that implied
    that it will happen.

Doesn't seem bad at all, just saying that people are naked is one thing; describing their bodies and privates in detail is another. Again, it's just words, saying someone is naked doesn't actually show any nudity, and what someone conjures up in their mind is their own doing. Not sure what you mean by this:
I'm kinda' confused there, but as long as there isn't anything overtly sexual going on it should be fine. I'd post it if there was just some naked people, as long as I wasn't describing their genitalia that is.

Sounds fair, since there isn't any mention of that.
I will just toss it in with the smut to avoid any
    complaints.
