to expand on that a bit... a 'thread' is a string of posts, started by the original poster's first post, such as the one you just put up... it consists of the original plus all replies/responses... each entry/reply in a thread is a 'post'... such as this one and the two above it... welcome to the world of online forums/boards!... love and hugs, maia
