    identify this writing style

    new member BTW..

I seen a writing style that I have obsessed about, but would like some input on. Id love to imitate it in something I will be working on.

If youve seen the movie Good will hunting, then surely you remember the scene about the NSA. There is a ramble, or carry on sentence type flow that lasts about 2 mins.

I would love to know more on this. Do you know what style that format is? Also please list a few examples.

    Thanks in advance

    Stream of consciousness?

It would drive me potty to read a novel like that, but I think Trainspotting might fit the bill.

I've seen Dennis Leary do similar narratives, but don't know exactly what it was. I'd imagine there's some on YouTube of them. I loved that scene, by the way!
