Who would play your cast of characters? Mine were: Allison Jeanne "AJ" Connor: Kirsten Dunst (if she were 6'2" and looked like she did in Spider-Man with the sort of ginger colored hair.) Nikki Rameirez: (MC's romantic interest/girlfriend) Odette Yustman-Annabelle Laurel Connor: (MC's mother) Sally Field (Decided after her performance in Lincoln) (Scott Parker, MC's ex-romantic interest/father of her miscarried child): Sam Worthington (Avatar) Zoe Connor: (MC's older sister/POV character) Anne Hathaway And I'd probably throw in Aaron Paul, Kelly Chen, Harrison Ford, and Billy Bob Thorton in cameo's among the various people she meets along the way.
I'd have to time travel to fill out some of my cast. I've always pictured my lead as Richard Burton - that brooding whiskey-voice! Jude Law Cicely Tyson - back when she was big in the 70's Emily Browning Giovanni Ribisi Michael Caine - 90's Jeremy Irons - back in the 90's when he looked pretty slick for Die Hard 3
Brena = Charlie Cox (exactly as he looked in Stardust after Robert De Niro hooked him up with the swashbuckling threads and give him a hairdid.) Deavon Clive = Liam Hemsworth William Clive = Ian Somerhalder Lady Petla = Emma Thompson (inspired in part by Thompson's portrayal of Lady Marchmain) Lord Carl = Daniel Day Lewis Taia = Zooey Deschanel (Maybe. I haven't really 'seen' her yet in my head.)
Spanish Lullaby Synopsis: A CIA agent must infiltrate a lesbian terrorist organization in Barcelona to save her sister. Cast: Jennifer Connelly Penelope Cruz Salma Hayek Catherine Zeta Jones Eva Langoria Sofia Vergara Bar Paly
Harvest: The Devils Orchard (*Working Title*) Zairian (Last Name TBC) = Ryan Hurst Jeremiah (Last Name TBC as MC's Father) = George Clooney Lucifer = Johnny Depp Zoltan Attila = Oded Fehr Penelope Cielo = Patricia Velásquez Ashida Kiichi = Tadanobu Asano Mutumbe Akihito= Shemar Moore Takillya Barbarosa = Marie-Josée Croze yep, a range of cultures in that one!
You and I are best friends now. Call me every five minutes. I have a very deep... appreciation for him.
Fred Ward, Joe Pantoliano, Richard Boone, Kim Novak, Scoot McNairy and, because it's my novel and I can do what I want, Amber Heard, Olivia Wilde and Megan Fox.
I'd love Leonardo DiCaprio in my book. Oh how I'd love him to star as Will or Shadow Walker! I'd love to have Jennifer Lawrence too....
For the main female character I too would probably go for Jennifer Lawrence, and for the main male cahracter I would go for DiCaprio or Joseph Gordon Levitt
Bio Paint (temporary title) Vibrant, green post apocalyptic setting featuring a massive rivalry of factions. Chase Williamson as Statutor Farou Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Anna Hops Danny Trejo as Zasa Philip Mcginley as Garfield Jones Bryan Cranston as Tablou (unfortunately, he would die early in the film, right after the protagonist immorally kills his daughter...) Bruce Campbell (bartender cameo)
Thank you! I was just using it as a placeholder because it reflected the weird content of the novel (things like loaves of bread with eyes that are actually people). With feedback like that, however, I might stick with it.
I haven't come up with a title for my novel yet, but I think I know who I would want as the main characters. Robert Downey Jr. as the Chicago Detective Hugh Laurie as the Norfolk, England, Detective Inspector Christopher Walken Chicago Chief of Police Liam Neeson as the main Lollard Knight Ray Fiennes as the brother and Lollard Knight I have always thought Neeson and Fiennes looked alike especially in their roles as Zeus and Hades in Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans.
If Michael Bay did it, there would be lots of explosions, mountain dew, and pointless slow-mo shots... Sounds good to me!
Here would be the cast for my and KaTrian's sci-fi piece, Solus: Lise Armfelt: Bibi Andersson if she was 6' tall, in her 20s, and built like Hanna-Maria Seppälä who was the inspiration for the character's looks. Jonathan 'Reggie' Reagan: a 6'4, buff version of Marshall Mathers (also, better acting skills would be preferable, but his face is pretty close). Originally he wasn't supposed to look like MM, but when KaTrian drew Reggie, that's how he came out and then it stuck. Amélie Prideaux: a young Catherine Bell before she got a boob job and got her nose Michael Jacksonized... and with her skin a few shades darker. Originally she was supposed to look like a mix of Rosario Dawson and Shannyn Sossamon, but I guess if they had a baby, she'd look like Bell. Chris Adams: Cam Gigandet with dark surfer hair. Anna 'Sundance' Ward: Bryce Dallas Howard. Oliver Hendricks: Christian Beadles. I'll include this one for no reason at all: Chuck Norris
Why not? well, Chuck would play leader of the Gods with Jackie Chan as his right hand! that would be pretty damned awesome
@ChaosReigns, come to think of it, if we ever wrote God into one of our stories, we'd probably cast Chuck Norris to play Him.
I wanna see this movie but need at least a cameo from me with added Blarney - looks like I 'll need all the armoury I can muster to infiltrate the LTO...
Of course, I somehow forgot Mark Harmon to play her father in the flashback sequences. And for some reason I want to find a place for Vincient D'onofrio...
Perhaps somewhat OT ramble: I've often fantasized about who'd be cast to play which part in our story, and while I came up with actors/actresses for every other character, I never could come up with anyone to play Lise's role because I realized there are no muscular female actresses (bodybuilders/pro athletes who act on the side don't count, I mean professional actresses). So if a movie would ever be made, I'd either have to find a muscular amateur actress, try to bribe a professional actress into bulking up (which might seriously hurt her career later on because it seems movie execs generally don't want their action heroines to look big), or... I dunno, a muscle version of the fat suit or something? Do take my realization with a due sense of suspicion since perhaps my google-fu has just utterly failed me. Oh, and no, actresses like Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Linda Hamilton etc. aren't what I'm talking about here: sure, they're obviously very fit, but they aren't really the female equivalent of Mark Wahlberg, Hugh Jackman, or Christian Bale. Maybe I should write only skinny, sinewy, or overweight women? End of ramble.
