"I wrapped him in silk and flung him into the friendship cave."

Apparently I wrote this as a one-off post on my dead blog two years ago. I have no context.

    Edited the words

Is silk another person, or did you wrap him in silk? Also, the friendship cave sounds scary.:)

Whoops. It's in silk. I've been reading it wrong for two years apparently. I was probably in outer space when I wrote that. It does sound a bit scary though...I could never understand what the hell I was thinking when I wrote it, but I remember laughing a lot.

Well he was probably grateful for the silk wrap. At least he had a blanket in the cold, dark, friendship cave.

    I totally get that.

    Tex was actually our best
dog—maybe second to our Irish Wolfhound when I was a child, but she was already an old girl when I was old enough to know her so she might have been a crazy pup & matured with age.

When he was 3-4months old, Domino took Tex out on a male "bonding" expedition passed the borders of our property and deep into the labyrinthine housing tract that is relatively close to us then came back alone, all smug & exultant.

We had to drive around for forty minutes, looking for signs of a puppy already the size of a medium dog, only to eventually find him wagging his tail in the garage with a terrified woman, who was not reassured by his tail wag in the slightest.

Domino was not pleased that we foiled his plans, but he tried that crap one more time in the opposite direction at an extensive high end golf course. Opposite of the first experience, everyone decided to feed the adorable puppy Tex to the point that he started wandering there himself after we rescued him, so we had to do a lot more training on our knowing his territory & staying within the boundaries.

After the two failed schemes, the superiority complex Domino forewent on any further conspiracies against Tex—be we suspect this is because Tex grew into a beast of dog relatively fast and was not to be tested.

He was actually super patient & long-suffering—even with dogs who snarled at him and were looking for a fight. He would just sit and stare at them or lay down (non submissively). Most settled when they saw he was ignoring them, but the few who tried anything with him were flipped on their back, held down by his front paw, and he'd snarl viciously in their face, but wouldn't bite them. Never was there so chill but so badass a dog (in my experience).

Also he was so cute with the goats~

...What in the blasted Hells am I doing? Am I seriously putting huge chunks of writing I already did off to the side and... STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN!? Expecting each word in THIS draft to be pitch perfect!? Am I really doing this?

I'm insane. I'm officially and quite utterly insane. What head trauma did I suffer in childhood to warrant this action? OK, know what? I'm gonna put all the work I've done BACK where it belongs and go from there. >:[

Calm down, bud. Take a step back and a moment, you can always
fix the rough parts to a fine polish later. That is what the rough
draft is for. So let it be sloppy for now, and you can fix it up when
you have it all down. It is going to be alright. :)

I decided to look for a new job. My current one is just too dull, and it's getting to the stage where I can't even enjoy my free time because all I can think about is how many hours til I have to be back at work.

I've never had a filling or other dental work but I'd have a local for a scale and polish if I could. I hate the feel of that pointy thing scraping my teeth.

You otta try the ultrasonic descaler. It might work for you, but for me, there are spots where it directly activates the tooth nerve. Yeow!
