Who am I going to tell? My shih-tzu never listens anyway. :)
So yes I promise, even on the bible that I don't believe in.

There’s a Titanic exhibition at my local museum, I’m going there today. :D

Funny thing is, it was the RMS Titanic that got me into history when I was a child, and I know Child!Me would’ve been jumping up and down begging to go. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still excited at going, I’m just surprised at how my viewpoint of the general field of history has changed. Before I used to think it was all awesome and fun, but now my more cynical side just thinks it’s filled with nothing but people killing each other for stupid reasons. I think I blame my college courses where I spent two semesters learning about the horrors of American slavery and man’s inhumanity to each other.

I mean, can’t I just let myself go back to my excitable, pre-cynical me? :p I get to learn about the White Star Line and all that other stuff.

I'm back where the money makes sense and I know how to order food. The accents are familiar, although there are an awful lot of foreigners on this train from the airport.

    I'm back home in Japan...

I love the way the UK parliament sounds like a bunch of drunks heckling a comedian.

They've seen too much South Park, which is where they got the idea...or that's what I like to think.

I love Hugh Laurie, why would I kill him? I think you misinterpreted the meaning of the
    meme.

The thing I love about this hobby (and it's a hobby for me, YMMV) is that most of you write fairly coherently. Some of my other hobbies, not so much so:

I just spent a good thirty minutes of my brief time on this earth trying to track down this one gay werewolf movie I remember watching like four years ago, finally found it, and ... I've forgotten why I was looking for it in the first place

Sadly googling "gay werewolf movie" was no help, so I had to go back through my netflix viewing activity. It's not on instant anymore, so I can't rewatch it, but I vaguely remember it being verging-on-bad while charming and thought I'd look it up on IMBD and check out some reviews, to see if that's the consensus. The first one I see starts off: "Gay werewolves? Ummm ... a likely story."

I know, man, werewolves aren't actually real, but like ... buy into the fantasy for a sec, all right. Jeez.

It's The Wolves of Kromer, btw, for anyone interested.

Gay werewolves? Ah, why not. I recently saw a film called Wolf Cop. He's straight, but it's still one of the more amusing so-bad-it's-good (on purpose) movies that's come across my TV.

Totally came across WolfCop in my viewing history while I was looking for The Wolves of Kromer, hahah. I actually don't think I finished it, but only because I was falling asleep. It seemed like dumb fun -- I should give it another go.

It really opens strong and kind of falls off towards the end, but it was still quite a bit of fun on a Saturday night. Mrs. A and I are into The Asylum, SyFy, and stuff like that, but this was a really well-done crap movie.

I made an offhand tweet about Wolfcop during my search for The Wolves of Kromer, and it was liked by what genuinely appears to be the official Wolfcop twitter account (a thing that seemingly, in fact, does exist).
