The eternal question remains:

Will people at work ACTUALLY come in costume or should I pack my outfit as a backup & come in more typical professional attire?

 

Wear the costume every day, and dress professional once a year.

 

Halp I'm rapidly becoming addicted to historical costumes they're just so FANCY!
Apparently I've levelled up in gay.

 

I'm wearing a velvet jacket, a waistcoat, and a bow tie today, and I'm more than reasonably straigtht. You're just becoming a dandy, has nothing to do with your sexuality.

 

It's not so much wearing nice clothes, which I'm still not particularly good at, but that have I have the level of appreciation and interest in it.

My current favourite fairy tale might just be The Death of Koschei the Deathless.

Just because I was taken aback the first time the hero of the story meets a queen, he finds favour with her, she takes him back to her kingdom, and then she gets the sudden urge to go a-warring, takes off to do battle with her army, and asks hubby to watch the castle, housekeep, and please don't go into that one room, kthxiluvubai.

Marya Morevna is definitely my favourite princess.
