Nobody expected him. His chief weapon was surprise.

A thread has to have a discernible initial direction before it can have a derail. So sayeth the Admin. :bigwink:

Thanks Wrey. :p I knew there was a reason my brain didn't take to learning Spanish, granted I am a long way from an ocean. So Summon Cthulhu as often as you like, he may live in saltwater, but crossing deserts and salt flats are an entirely different breed. :p

I like the English language. I have to, it's the only one I know... at least to some extent.

For someone who asserts that English is not their native language, the OP puts their case forward in remarkably native English.
The word troll springs to mind, but I would hate to lower myself and therefore have to be content with the assumption that the OP actually means every word, which is laudable in its own way.
However, to describe English as shit is a non starter and completely ruins an otherwise well written and fascinating critique of our language.
A really enjoyable read and I want more please!

And let's not even talk about Spanish subjunctive or why el agua is actually feminine.
Having said that, Spanish isn't a difficult language to learn and I often wonder how people manage to master English in the first place, but they do.

Aw, come on. Every thread someone makes a joke at some point. It has to be consuming enough, hasn't it?
