Found and old translator I created six months ago for my sci-fi language. It's boringly called "European" and is the most spoken language in Europe in 4000 AD. It's mainly the direct descendant of romance languages, mainly French, with a simplified phonetic spelling and simplified grammar and conjugation. Anyone care to post some sentences for me to translate?
Well, it will be interesting to see how this works out. This is a sentence from my book. For the two young King Charles Spaniels, the journey was just beginning.
If I got the word order right, it should be. "Li traje ale por li just comense, dea fre rei carl espaneles." In a few more translations I'll explain the structure and a few unique things I invented.
Neat stuff. How about translating: Esperanto is dead, and if you don't believe me, just read that sign over there. Go on, read it.
Maigi! Me hum maiklan ude. Unaya ita me lan. Translate: Cool! I create languages, too. That's my language Unaya. It's super basic, as well. In some parts it sounds like Arabic and in others it seems like Indonesian with a Korean intonation. Basically modeled after whichever language I'm in the mood to mimic while I'm reciting it or making up new words, which isn't at all helpful in the consistency department. I'm working on developing it into its own proper language, though. Just need to wrap my head around linguistics a lot more. Are you generally interested in conlanging or was that a one time creation for the sake of a story?
