is it ok to forward links?

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by ShortBus, Feb 18, 2011.

i signed up to that triond.com. i was wondering if it would be ok to post a link to my sample rather than copy/pasting it directly onto my post here.

it would be very beneficial to me if i could get people to read my samples on that site because i can generate some income.

I just thought i would ask before I just started doing it.

    Thanks

I'm guessing that it will be a no-go. The site is pretty picky about outside links, and we can't critique it on some other site.

thats too bad... my plans are ruined.

its really no big deal i highly doubt you can make more than a couple dollars a month on those sites since it is so diluted. and it seems like you would have to advertise yourself so you can generate some sort of traffic and thats too much work for making pennies a week.

    thanks for the info.

Guess you'll just have to polish your writing skills and sell stories like the rest of us ;)

:) yea that was the whole point in signing up for those sites as well. i want to get a portfolio together just in case i ever need 1. at least here i can get some constructive input which is honestly better than a few dollars.
