I know how much stigma world-building gets in the writing world so just relax with the pitchforks. The closest there is to World-Building I've seen here is the role-playing section which is severely under-populated right now. Is there a chance of the mods creating a world-building sub-forum? I think it'd be great if we could share our worlds here and receive criticism on them. Perhaps this isn't the right website for it though so I won't be too disappointed about it either way.
