It’s a good idea to bring back a previous villain for just one battle?

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Alphacharizard, Jul 17, 2018.

I’m wanting to create 3 parts- fan fiction where a villain A who was the final enemy (and basically the antagonist) in the part 2 and supposedly died there. Now in the part 3 other villains and the heroes are fighting for the corpse of A but in the climax A wasn’t really dead (but just in a weird comma state), revives and wants to conquer everyone (even the other villains), so then the final battle is against A instead of the other villains.

    What do you think?

Whether or not it works out will depend on how you write it, but I think it sounds good.
