Hi all. As the title suggests, I'm new to forums and unfamiliar with the etiquette, but I thought I ought to say hello. So... hello... forum. Hope you're well... for a forum that is. Well... this is awkward. Anyway, I'm 22 and, having just sent my first novel off to agents, I'm in dire need of something to take my mind off it for the next couple of months. What better way to take my mind off my writing, than to join a forum for writers to talk about their writing... Oh, wait... Damn. Ok, well at least it will give me something to do rather than staring listlessly at my phone all day and then running to hide under a table whenever I hear the email alert tone. Anyway, if you're reading this then I've probably wasted enough of your time already. So... happy foruming! Or whatever the hell it is you do here.
I understand this so well. I'm not new to 'forums' but I'm new to this one and it seems different to me for some reason. Anyway, welcome.
