You can still speak to me directly, any time. It's just that I won't be able to advise you on any issues involving forum rules or activities—because I'm out of the loop and no longer aware of what might be happening behind the scenes. However, I'd be very happy to address any writing issues. I don't want to lose contact with folks, that's for sure. Certainly don't be afraid to address the other Mods, if you have questions about current forum policy, etc. They are here to help, not hinder. I'm just the Mod whose self-appointed task was to engage with new members soon after they joined. However, while the others probably don't have the time to do this, they'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
Once she got out of her cage it was easier to just open the staff room door and let her go, otherwise we'd have had to mess about with the dart rifle and the big net all over again... to be honest procuring the deep fried haggis for feeding time was becoming a bit of a chore anyway
Deep fried haggis? No wonder I left... Now, if you had steamed its honest, sonsie face, and served it with large dollops of creamy mash potatoes and a little heap of neeps, and maybe a nip of Bunnahabhain (old recipe) to go with, I'd have stayed on. But no.
jannert, I'm sad to see you retire since you were a crucial part of the mod team, but I assume you'll be sticking around and contributing to the forum. Thanks for your hard work and leadership, and enjoy some well-deserved time off!
