I'm new here. I'm 18, just graduated High School and I'm about to go to college. I decided to become an author and a screenwriter. I've written my first novel as practice and I purposely made it terrible so that I can learn how to finish a novel(token advice from Scott Sigbler) and now I'm writing my first real novel. I hope I don't mess up. Where do I go to post my first chapter to get criticism if it's good or not? Thank you for reading.
Welcome to the forum, tastytacoman23! Terrible or not, finishing a novel is still a great achievement, congrats! Here's a link to the New Member Guide, it will get you going around here. Good luck with your writing and have fun!
Hi, welcome, and various other social pleasantries ........ Seriously though ... congrats on the novel.
Hey if it's that bad you can always use it to straighten up a wobbly table. It still has its purposes! Welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum: where frustrated amateurs dream about winning the Nobel prize for literature. Finished a novel and only 18? Good work! I'm 30 and still haven't even finished a chapter.
