While you may not agree with her ideas, I wouldn't be so quick to pass her and others of a similar mindset off as "dumb" or crazy. I find that school of thought to be a bit short-sighted and unimaginative. Sure the idea of living solely on "divine light" and air is far-fetched by our understanding, but it is part of a world view/human history perspective that I find at least somewhat more viable than certain other belief systems. I don't quite buy the whole "light-eater" thing, which is the idea that someday we will re-evolve and become dependent solely on light, but I don't know. For the time being I prefer to push it to the back of my mind because I do think humans could have possibly originated as beings of light, what some might call spirits and others would surely call myth and crazy-talk. If anything, it is entirely foolish to practice breatharianism in our current physical state. As for whether or not we'll evolve to that state, there is no indication in mainstream science... perhaps in pseudoscience, according to some things I've read. Regardless, I'll continue living on physical substance for my physical body. I've got no reason to call her dumb, just extreme.
