What is going on? This site has been having massive problems loading, and many of us simply cannot access it.
It happened to me as well. From lunch (12:00 pm) to just now, I haven't been able to get on. The message I kept recieving was "database error". What's happened?
it's working ok for me after the past two days of 'cannot display webpage' errors driving me batty... however, now i'm having to battle that verdammt huge right sidebar full of info i couldn't care less about... used to be i could just do away with it when i first went on the site and it'd stay away, but today, the blasted thing comes back every time i return to the sections menu! anyone know how i can get it to not show up at all? GRRRRRR!!!!!...i take it back!... it's doing that 'cannot display' again!... took me 5-6 tries to get the edit box to open and i fear it'll do the same before i can get this saved/posted... what the heck can be done to fix this, before we lose all our best old members who're fed up with the hassle and don't get any new ones?
And just as I wrote this, the site started working perfectly again. Typical But I thought I better let you know.
sorry, i don't know how to post a sidebar picture... it's the thing on the right that has all the info about the latest posts and stuff... it goes away only if you click on an arrow at the very top of it, so it's a nuisance to get rid of when you're further down the page... i used to be able to close it when i first came on the site and it wouldn't be there when i'd backclick to the menu again, after dealing with the threads in each section... but now every time i go back to the menu page the verdammt thing is back and i have to close it every single time!
