When life has no meaning for you, bring meaning to someone else's life. Then try and look them in the eyes and say that life has no meaning. It's gonna be hard. The craving for entertainment and self-gratification is what buddhists call the false heaven. It's their idea of Hell. People aren't tortured there -- they're left forever in a stasis of shallow, fleeting pleasures, while their hearts are empty of meaning. I think it's an absolutely terrifying thought, because that hell is real.
