It's a roughly 113k/wc fantasy book set in a fictional world. It follows Kristol Dharaventius, the daughter of King Iatiten, who just wanted a simple life of adventure but finds that the course of her life had been dictated by a madman, who has orchestrated the events surrounding her. She is forced to rise to the occasion becoming a Queen and then an Empress as she takes on the wicked and corrupt adversary, the decedents of a fallen culture. (sorry I am terrible at summarizing, and doing my best to keep it spoiler free)
