@T.Trian and I are putting finishing touches on our main WIP, Solus, so now we're looking for beta-readers who'd have a gander at the first 50 or so pages (and if interested, we won't mind if you want to read the rest of the ms!). It's a plus if you've served in a military or are otherwise knowledgeable of military service as there are a few scenes, details, ranks etc. that'd benefit from the opinions and views of someone who has first-hand experience. Having said that, we would appreciate anybody's input who would be interested in reading our story. It's sci-fi, there's gore and cursing -- but no aliens -- and a Swedish protagonist. We'd sum it up something like this: Lise Armfelt joins the International Law Enforcement of Solus with intentions so good they pave her way straight to hell. We'd be happy to swap WIPs! Reply to this post or drop either of us a private message if you're interested. Cheers, KaTrian and T.Trian P.S. We spied with our little eyes that @Samurai Jack, @zoupskim and @mrieder79 seem to have some military experience, so if you're looking for a beta-reading project or would like your work reviewed by us, please let us know.
I would be happy to BETA your WIP. However, know that I am currently BETAing someone else's WIP, and writing my own little crappy story, so you might not get it back for a bit. Lot of acronyms in there... P.S. No need to reciprocate. My WIP is still far from ready for betas.
Thanks, I'll drop you a message. It's totally fine if you want to finish your beta-in-progress first, though, before we spam you with ours. It's not healthy to have too many things on your plate at once.
We do. I think you've actually helped us out with Lise's Swedish lines, already, but I can't remember for sure. There isn't much, but one chapter is titled försiktighetsåtgärd. That's Swedish, right?
I am totally selfish here (don't have any kind of specific experience), but I am interested I realise you have not seen me critique here in WF but I know how. I think
Well it sounds like something up my alley, I wouldn't mind the privilege to have a peek at your story.
