For those that use a reader magnet for news letter building, quick question. Do you find readers prefer a prequel story, side story, or does it not matter? Any advice would be appreciated.
I use two series novellas - one is perma free on all channels to act as a funnel to my work and the second is £2.99 on all markets or free to subscribers ... when i wrote them they were prequels but I've since added books to the series that go before them. - I also give subscribers a free (exclusive) short story in email four of my welcome sequence - that is a side plot since something thats exclusive can't really be in the main line. EOTD It doesn't really matter so long as the quality is there... its a bad idea to scrimp on editing, cover design etc on magnets since they act as an intro to your work
