May I post an entire novella with updates?

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Duchess-Yukine-Suoh, Oct 21, 2013.

Can I just post an entire novella on here? :confused:I would update with a new chapter every week.

I really have no intention of publishing it, so it only makes sense.

I wouldn't take exception to this within your blog, but try and keep in mind that the purpose of this venue is not to get your work out there, it's to critique work and get it critiqued (importance in that same order). It's not a fridge door site. Such things exist; we're not that.

Sorry, but what does this mean?

    Anyway, thank you! :)

You have the ability to create blog posts within the site.

I know that, but what does "I wouldn't take exception to" mean?

Sorry, I must be driving you bonkers.

It means it wouldn't bother me. ;) You've already made mention that you've no intention of publication, so you understand the implications of posting an entire work on-line.

Duchess, have you ever used fictionpress? They are a really popular site for posting short peices to a long work little by little. I have a few ongoing stories on there. People get e-mails when you update your story too.

We currently don't have a section to display finished stories, poems, or novels. The best place would probably be your blog.
