Hello... my name is Jen, seventeen, northeastern United States. I suppose I joined this forum just to test my writing abilities... and to be heard. I write frequently (mostly poetry because my attention span usually prohibits anything longer...) but I don't usually share it because I am equal parts vain and humble, an impossible conundrum which means: the part of me which thinks I am superb doesn't want to brag and the part of me which thinks I suck doesn't want anyone else to know! But somehow the internet feels eons away from home and much safer. So here I am! I write, I read, I mostly paint/draw/photograph, I appreciate music and am surrounded by it but can't play a single instrument, I exist, I live, I breathe, I am an infrequent drinker, a casual smoker, utterly absent-minded, and according to sources I do not trust (parents, friends, and SATs) incredibly smart. ha.
