    Means of creating an emblem/crest?

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by Uber Aubergine, Nov 9, 2014.

I've been working on designing an emblem to be used as representation for the main antagonistic organisation in my novel. I was wondering if anyone knew of any free software out there which could be used to create a professional looking version of this? Pen and paper just isn't doing this justice.

    Cheers guys.

There are tons of blanks online. If you're familiar with GIMP (free) or Photoshop (not-free) you can use that as a starting point. Then you can browse stock vector sites for parts and pieces for the emblem if you're not gifted with the skill of drawing (I am not).

Toonboom is generally good for that, technically it's a animation program but it has a very good standard designs, also it's very easy to use and design your own if your gonna go for the original feel :)
