WJ now first draft complete at 34553 - 2.4k tonight

In two bursts that's 34 days so a tad over 1k a day, although in actual fact there were a fair few non working days /days spent doing other things - I average about 1800 per day for days where I was actually working on WJ

I've got the proofreader notes back on Hidden fires, so I will do that next, plus theres some extra stuff to add to county lines to fill a plot hole my editor picked up

Proofreaders notes on Hidden fires done today... I'll give that a little while and a final read then do a final read through and it will be ready to drop.

Next up for tomorrow the gap in County Lines - where the editors feedback is that its a great start and a great end but the middle reads like I lost interest and got it over too quick. as it stands this is a 40k novella, but Julianne reckons it ought to be a 50-60k novel - it's just that the middle third is missing.

Decided to leave county lines for a bit (after reading it I'm still not sure my editor is right... that can sit and wait)

1200 in to a new project Tigris... a sequel (actually prequel) to my first book Rapax

I havent written for a bit as i hurt my wrist - I've had a touch of RSI for a while but i fell on it and made it dramatically worse. A week off has improved it to the point i can start writing - although I've moved to a desk with gel supports from writing with the laptop balanced on my knee, and i'm also experimenting with dictation

Tigris is now at 15037 so about 600 words tonight

Would this be of any use? I just saw it advertised yesterday and thought it might be a good idea for somebody with wrist issues.
