    My Brilliant Story Idea

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Naomasa298, May 14, 2020.

The Enterprise has been called to a planet that has emerged from a prolonged eclipse of its sun. The starship arrives a month after the eclipse to find the colony devastated. Hordes of raving, bloodthirsty, brain-eating mindless colonists are roaming the streets, the colonists who didn't enter shelters during the eclipse and have been infected by a mysterious pathogen.

Meanwhile, the colonists who did get to shelter have been mutated into horrible bloodsucking fiends by the local mad scientist's latest experiment.

Just as the Enterprise crew are trying to decipher the mystery, they are attacked by gene stealing aliens that awaken from their eggs deep underground.

I shall call it "Star Trek: 28 Days After 30 Days of Nights vs Aliens".

Am I missing anything? Do you think some kind of homicidal time travelling cyborg would add anything to the plot?

What about your own Brilliant Story Idea™?

Sounds like you will be in for a few legal battles, yes battles that are entirely legal!

    Stardate 4119.1

The Enterprise has been called to a planet filled with rich psychopathic vampires feasting on the souls and minds of normal humans who just want to get by.
The crew of the Enterprise devise a cunning plan to lure all the vampires into a courtyard to beam them all in one go, when all of a sudden, old vampires rise from hidden temples beneath the ground.

It shall be called: "Star Trek: The Originals Legacy of True Blood".

Only possible in Star Trek/Wars, so you're on the right track there.

Nah, some space aliens could have erected a big sunscreen because they were bored.

You clearly need a side-arc where a Borg cube is racing towards Federation Space because they've been infested with xenomorphs and Ripley is now the Borg Queen and the Borg drones are torn between eliminating the xenomorph infestation and dealing with Ellen Ripley who will 100% legit crash that cube onto Ceres (all drones onboard) because she is the Xeno Killer™.

    How'bow'dat? ;)

To avoid any legal issues, there shall be no facehuggers in my story. Instead, there will be the mouth-rape starfish.

Here's how I see this one playing out.

Zombies are utterly useless against everyone except Red Shirts.
They can zombify the Borg but Borg nanotech can keep corpses working, and even resurrect them. Eventually, Borg tech defeats the zombie virus.

Likewise vampires. They get a nasty shock when they bite Terminators.

Terminators are effective against everybody except vampires. Picard proved that Borg can be mown down with a tommy gun.

Borg can assimilate everybody except Aliens.

Red shirts are basically useless. They eventually get turned into zombies, vampires, Borg or xenomorph hatcheries.

So, the Borg assimilate everyone (assuming they don't get wiped out by Terminators or Aliens first).

They find they can't assimilate xenomorphs, so they just nuke the planet from space. What they don't realise is that some xenomorphs have made it on board their cube...
