    My (Mike's) Progress journal

Discussion in 'Progress Journals' started by UpstateWriter, May 14, 2015.

So I'll add my own to the list of progress journals. Hopefully seeing that others are making progress will inspire me to make more progress myself.

Currently working on a novel: 11,000 words currently.

Two short stories, finished and being polished.

I managed to eek out a mere 200 words today on my novel. I have spent more time browsing these forums today than I have spent time writing. So i guess that's a good excuse for not being more productive today.

Yeah, be careful with the forum ;). But at least you can use this progress journal for accountability ;).

Another 300 words today. Not the production i'd like to see, but i had to rewrite a lot because, 50 pages in, i discovered my novel did not have a clearly defined protagonist

@KaTrian I don't think I do it for accountability. I like to read about fellow writers making progress, and that helps inspire me to improve on my own progress.

Sadly, I haven't made much progress the last few days, but have done some re-writing.

Did 800 words today on my novel, but i also scratched about that many words. Does that count as no progress, or double progress, lol.
