My name is Dan, and I'm new here.

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by bookbythefire, Jul 24, 2018.

Hey all. Obviously new here. I'm not one for posting too much, but I'll be here, reading your posts in the background like a weird ghost that nobody hears or sees. I'm here to learn. If I make friends in the process, that would be nice. It's nice to make writer friend, I hear.

So I'm Dan, and I'm from the UK, and I'm 31. Horror is my genre, but I like to roam away from it from time to time. I'm looking forward to reading your writing, and giving feedback, and learning from others.

    Happy to be here!

Welcome aboard Dan, we've got a pretty good horror community on this forum. Somebody'll be along shortly with a link to the rules, but feel free to wander about and join in, they're mostly common sense anyway.

Hmm, @Cave Troll usually gives newbies a random weapon for self defense. It's not really needed, so I'll just gift you with a picture of Jupiter.

I'd say Jupiter is one of the best weapons to pull out of your pocket short of a black-hole-cannon. No argument can stand against the persuasive power that is the gravitational force of an object 1.300 times the size of eath.

    Welcome :)
