I've had a fair number of publications over the last few years, and I recently found out that Rattle nominated my poem for Best of the Net. It's my first nomination, so I'm pretty excited, and I'm even more excited that it was nominated in such a competitive arena. Thanks, Rattle! Here's the link to the poem if you're interested: http://www.rattle.com/to-the-woman-who-ruled-every-rape-is-not-a-gender-motivated-hate-crime-by-bayleigh-fraser/
Congrats, while my attempts at writing in the poetry realm have floundered miserably I do enjoy to read it and admire those more skilled than I. Seem`s I should add you to that group, congrats on the nomination.
Congratulations! I'm not usually a consumer of poetry, but that was extremely powerful and moving to read. Well deserved!
Honestly, I can see why. The combination of imagery and emotion are both thoughtful and soul wrenching in a spartan display of prose.
