I noticed there wasn't a thread like this, so I decided to make my own. The way it works is: I post a couple lines from a song. The first person to name the song AND ARTIST "wins", although there is no prize. The person who wins posts another couple of lines from a different song, and it keeps going on. There is NO looking up lyrics..don't do it folks. If no one can guess the song within.. 2 hours, just post another one. No cheating- Have fun! First lines: Love of mine some day you will die But I'll be close behind I'll follow you into the dark
Okay, since no one has managed to guess the song and it was posted seven hours ago, I am going to post some new lyrics for everyone to try. (because I don't have a clue either) Stop right now, thank you very much I need some body with a loving touch. Hey you, always on the run Better sow down baby gunna have some fun.
the first song is our time is now, by the plain white tees... awesome love song, even if it is a little emo... i don't know what heather's is.
Sounds familiar (which i dont think is good), wouldnt know the name of the track (never do), not from some England group of old.....lol i dont wanna say
^The first song is actually 'I Will Follow You Into the Dark' by Death Cab for Cutie. http://youtube.com/watch?v=wNIS0cuDOMw That's the music video. Second one - 'Stop' by Spice Girls? Although it's 'human touch' not 'loving touch.' My lyrics: I never make songs to disrespect woman or to judge people about the way that they're living but the way I am is based on the life I was given like them white boys; +Losing My Religion+ I used to be a Christian and a political pawn the bible is right and all your native culture is wrong next thing you know you telling me 'bout making a song come in the studio, and tell me that I'm making it wrong ~Christian
This would have to be in Word Games, but there is a worse problem. Posting lyrics without properly attributing them to the songwriter or lyricist is not permitted on this site. This game violates this rule by it's very nature. Even if the person who (eventually) posts afterward may not do so correctly, and past experience with lyrics-based games makes that a near certainty. So I'm sorry, but I really have to close this one down.
