    Names all caps in synopsis?

Discussion in 'Publishing' started by bsbvermont, Aug 7, 2012.

Hi folks...I know when you first introduce a character in screenplay, you always cap the whole name...is it the same rule for when writing a synopsis for a manuscript? I have seen a few lately that do. Just want a clarification if anyone knows.

Not sure what is done with a screenplay, but you would not do so with a manuscript.

I hope not, I'm using regular capitalization in my synopsis.

OK...you folks are confirming what I had been doing so, I'll assume the other synopses were people that were used to screenwriting format. Thanks all!

i wouldn't advise it unless the agent/publisher you're sending it to specifies doing that in their submission guidelines...
