Alright so... I've recently started writing again and decided that I'd need a bit of help with grammar, forming engaging plotlines and well. . . a way to get inspired! That's why I sought out a writing, and I was kinda led here. Right now I'm actually working on a story which I think is turning out pretty good - I've only got three paragraphs complete though - and I hope to share it with everyone soon! It may be a bit cliche however, because the story itself is about vampires - they've been a bit overdone I think - but I'm trying to add in my own unique twist to them. Well, I guess that's my introduction! If you have any questions or just wanna say "hi" then I'll be here!
Hey! Thanks for the welcomes again! I'm going to work on my posting/critiquing so that I will be able to post my work soon.
I'm sure there are more experienced critiquers here who would be much more qualified than me but its basically reviewing someone else work with a critical eye in the sense of the story. So things like particular actions that don't make sense for the character, or dialogue that doesn't fit the time period it's set in. The main thing is always make your critiques contractive and try not to nit-pick on grammar etc.
Oh I see, also I edited the post because I actually found an entire board dedicated to explaining that. Sorry ^ _ ^;
Sorry, I was at school all day so I haven't had the chance to describe my plot yet. But I'll actually do that in the plot development board soon, it might take a while to write up because there is quite a bit of back story to it as well.
