As a newbie, just curious as to some opinions about where to put a first work... if there are two+ potential genre fits, should I 1. just choose one, and a) let readers figure out the other? or b) let 'em know about the other label? or 2. Post in different places? Thanks!
If you are talking about posting in the workshop for critique, you might look at the genre threads and base your decision on the usefulness of the critiques you see there.
Posting a work in more than one area is a no-no. You'll have to decide which of the two things is more dominant. Or perhaps chose by which of the two genre areas seems to be getting more foot traffic by members who are critiquing.
