Lance Dresden Character Sheet Name: Lance Dresden Gender: Male Age: 31 Appearance: Lance is a fairly attractive man, with short brown hair and green eyes, with a muscular build. He stands at an ordinary 5ft 10in; however he still has a formidable presence. He has a deep scar on his right cheek, as well as cuts along his right arm from shrapnel. Short Bio: Lance was a Captain in the US Marines, serving for 7 years until the age of 29. His file then has a 2 year gap, which he claims was spent working for the government on a top secret project. Once complete he moved to New York to take on the Senior Security Officer role at NaturOil Corporation. Personality: The ex-soldier knows how to get things done. Very efficient in his work, he was praised for his valour and not leaving a man behind. Lance looks out for others, shown through his support for saving the planet and green initiatives he has brought into work. However he does not tolerate failure and expects anyone working for him to get their job done, no questions. This sort of attitude is the reason for his fast progress to the rank of Captain in the Marines. Profession: Senior Security Officer at NaturOil Corporation. Started employment three months ago, working directly under Jeremy Steele to make sure the entire tower has the highest quality in security. Misc. Info: No NaturOil employee is allowed to wear a weapon, a policy Lance brought in. He believed that it actually made the office a safer place and employees felt more at ease, considering the high class and experience of the security guards. He has also filed multiple complaints about some of the wiring within the Tower, especially within the elevator shafts, but has been ignored on every occasion.
Jeremy Steele Character Sheet Name: Jeremy Steele (NPC) Gender: Male Age: 53 Appearance: While a name like ‘Steele’ exudes power, Jeremy appearance does not. With a few wisps of grey hair floating over his head, and brown eyes with wrinkles all around, Jeremy stands at 5ft 4in and could easily be the same in width. He has indulged in the riches and misfortune of others, leaving him rotund and flabby. He constantly sweats, even in the snowy weather and has a large double chin. Short Bio: Jeremy has built his career all the way through NaturOil, and could be called one of the ‘children’ of the company. He rose to prominent stature very quickly and had already made partner by the age of 36. His ruthlessness in business and shady contacts allowed him to become CEO a mere 7 years after at the age of 43. Now serving his 8th year as CEO, mediators within the US government are concerned that he has been in power for too long within the company, considering his dirty secrets and the scandals and reputation of the company. Personality: Jeremy is ruthless, snide and an egomaniac. Not to mention extremely clever. He has informants all throughout the business giving him gossip and news on all employees, including other directors that are competing to take his job from him. He is a glutton in all manner of the word, taking anything and everything he can, no matter how he does it. Jeremy can make money bleed from anything, and he will suck it dry. Profession: CEO for NaturOil Corporation for 8 years. Misc. Info: He has a wife, but it is rumoured that he cheats on her regularly.

Character Sheet Name: Monica Scotts Gender:Female Age: 26 Appearance: Monica has brown hair reaching her shoulders. Her skin is tanned as if she works outside in the sun alot. She is wearing a light blue evening dress that hangs from one shoulder. It is quite modest however. Short Bio: Monica graduated from the police academy at the top of her class. She is a single mom, of a five year old, as her husband was murdered two years earlier. His case had never been solved. Personality: Monica seems to be a sweet-natured and innocent employee. However she is quite intelligent and has an amazing memory, though not photographic. She has seen her share of pain and suffering in the world and even though she does not have proof yet she knows that Lance and his corporation are not what they appear. Profession: Monica is an agent with the FBI and has been working undercover in NaturOil, as Lance's personal secretary, for the past four months.
Bryn Michaels Character Sheet Name: Bryn Michaels Gender: Female Age: 29 Appearance: A petite woman standing at 5’4, but with a nice figure. Has curly auburn hair that she usually wears in an elegant bun, with a few annoying strands around her face. Her brown eyes are behind thick-framed fashionable glasses. Is currently wearing a chic black cocktail dress and pumps. Short Bio: Ever since she was a young girl Bryn loved pictures. She would go to the library often and flip through books just to stare at the pictures. She wished to one day be an artist. Although, she didn’t have the talent for drawing, on her 12th birthday she got her first camera. She quickly began to wow everyone with her photographic skills. She entered several photography contests at her school and won a scholarship. During college she gained an internship at a news magazine, and now works as a top-leading photojournalist. Personality: Bryn is a quiet, socially awkward woman, fully absorbed in her creative work. She blends into her surroundings well, choosing not to be in the limelight. Has extreme anxiety and needs to take medicine to be able to be involved with large crowds of people. Most of the time she sees everything behind the viewfinder and is known to get herself in interesting situations to get the perfect shot. Profession: Photojournalist Misc. Info: Bryn carries a leather purse, actually disguised as her camera bag. Her Digital SLR camera fits securely in the bag, a long with several lenses. The editor of the magazine is her good friend and always gives her the juiciest stories to capture. Might be because of the fact that he is secretly in love with her, but Bryn is clueless of this knowledge. (This shall be interesting...)
Jo Turic Character Sheet Name: Joanna (Jo) Turic Gender: Female Age: 20 Appearance: 5' 10" with a gangly boyish figure. She gives the impression of being underfed. Just past shoulder length dark brown hair which she is wearing in a bun. She is wearing the black trousers and white shirt worn by all of the catering staff. Short Bio: Jo transferred to NYU at the beginning of the year from community college in Seattle. She took a temporary position with a catering company over winter break and is at the party as a waitress. Both of Jo's parents are in the army and she grew up at various bases across the US and internationally. When she was 16 her parents were stationed to Japan and she moved out rather than go with them. She has seem little of them since. Personality: Jo is quite serious and often needs a little help to get a joke. She dislikes having empty time and instead takes a heavy course load, works, and volunteers at an immigration law clinic on the weekends. She is studying pre-law. Profession: Pre-law student as well as a cashier at a bakery during semesters and additional temporary positions during breaks. Misc. Info: Jo speaks passable Japanese and German from time spent on bases in those countries as a child. She has also learned some Spanish to help with her volunteer position at the immigration law clinic. Though she has since concluded that violence is rarely the right solution to a problem, Jo was trained in karate as a child and reached her second degree black belt before quitting. Jo also rarely goes anywhere without her multi-tool and has it in her pocket. It is one of those sets that folds out into pliers with extra utilities in the handles. It's quite simple with the pliers/wire cutters, cork screw, philips and flat screwdrivers, can opener, mini saw, and a small blade (1.5"). (This should be fun! I'll try and write her into the tower some time today.)

Dirk Durgeson Name: Dirk Durgeson Gender: Male Age: 30 Appearance: Dirk is a tall and handsome fellow standing at about 6 ft 3 in with dark features. He keeps his hair short and trimmed evenly. He is well toned and quite the charmer. He always wears nice clothing and flashy name brand suits. His style is as sharp as his wit. Short Bio: Dirk is the president of a newly formed business that has seemed to sky rocket in sales. His business deals with the transportation of petrol oil nationally. He is attending the party in order to establish whether or not he will be pursuing stocks with NaturOIL. Personality: He is a go-get'er, a perfectionist and a HUGE ladies' man. If he's not chasing the dollar, he is chasing women..or both..at the same time. He is a sharp wit and is always the first to speak his mind. Profession: President of D.D. Transports, an American oil transport company.
Archibald McDaniels Name: Archibald McDaniels Gender: Male Age: Mid-50's Appearance: Always standing erect with perfect posture. Narrow face and figure. Combed black hair and thin mustache. Wears tailored suit without so much as a single wrinkle and a trademark red bowtie: the only splash of color on his otherwise monochrome figure. Short Bio: McDaniels has a long career of work in restaurant, party, and hotel management. Starting as a mere busboy, he has worked his way up the ladder to become one of the most sought-after Maître d'hôtels in the business. Hired by Jeremy Steele, he is present at the party not to enjoy himself, but to work. Personality: McDaniels is primarily concerned with making sure things run smoothly. While he is always polite and calm when speaking to guests, those who serve under him come to know the fierce taskmaster who burns within. He is very perfectionistic and detail-oriented, determined to make sure neither host nor guest concern themselves with -- or even be fully aware of -- the myriad of human cogs that mesh and churn to keep an event functioning. Despite his choleric nature, he is willing to take orders without question from any person he considers superior or higher ranked than himself. Dignified yet determined, McDaniels always attempts to hold the calm demeanor and appearance befitting his station but is not afraid to get his hands dirty if it be necessary. Name: Riley Steele Gender: Female Age: 23 Appearance: Riley has black hair, shorter in the back but longer in the front with a few stray pieces falling about shoulder length. She has bright green eyes that are often mistaken as blue and typically wears slightly dark makeup (brown tones, black eyeliner, lots of mascara, etc.). Standing about 5’6”, she is the opposite of her father: slender and poised. She always wears top brand name/designer clothes and is currently wearing a strapless red dress that comes down to her mid-thighs and strappy black stilettos. Her hair is neatly curled in ringlets, framing her face. Short Bio: Riley completed her MBA at Harvard University in four years, starting right after she graduated from high school at age seventeen. For two years now she has worked along side her father, following in his shadow and learning the tricks of the trade. She hopes to one day replace him as CEO and rebuild the company’s shady reputation under a new name. Though she is smart, like her father, Riley prefers to spend her time in New York’s designer stores and spas, rather than in the books. Personality: She’s smart and knows how to get exactly what she wants. She hates her father but loves his money and could easily come up with a thousand ways to spend it. Around the office, she’s somewhat of a grandchild to many of Jeremy’s co-workers, but she hates to be known as “Daddy’s little girl.” She’s spoiled, because she lets herself be, but she isn’t extremely prissy. Profession: Jeremy Steele’s daughter. Misc. Info: She loves cars (both old and new) as long as they’re fast and/or worth a lot of money. She is single because her father won’t allow her to have any serious relationships as he believes it could cause “complications” down the road. Because of this, Riley often comes to parties alone, or at least without a date.

I'll leave it up to you Dustin, you can if you want to. Understandably as Maître d' you will want to be in control of everything, but my preference is that the security have their own private channel and that Lance would approach you if he needed to bring something to your attention. Then again, it would be interesting to see how McDaniels reacts, listening to all this heavy news! Again, it's your choice. I am happy for you to do what you please. @LtW same applies to you, considering you are Lance's secretary. It's up to you whether Monica heard that convo or not
Name: Vincent DeLeoni Gender: Male Age: 24 Appearance: A man of middling height, 5'8, with olive skin and slender build. Green eyes and long cut brown hair that is always slightly out of order. Dashing features give him a sort of roguish charm. Short Bio: Vincent is the son of Gregori DeLeoni, a prominent New York business man who does business with NaturOil. The exact nature of the two companies dealings is 'obscure'. Gregori has sent his son to the gala to arrange a proper meeting. Vincent himself is an intelligent young man who is familiar with the workings of New York High society. He is and attending law school. Personality: He is reserved and quiet, brooding almost. He is generally kind and does not enjoy being part of his fathers less than legal activities. It bothers him and he is looking for a way out without inciting the wrath of the family. Profession: Second in Command of the DeLeoni Company (Crime family) Misc. Info: He has plans of cutting ties with his father and his business as soon as the deal with NaturOil is complete. He also always carries a Derringer two shot pistol in his suit coat, at his fathers insistence. He has been forced to kill before, but he does not enjoy it.

Hey guys and girls. Hopefully I will be able to get a big piece up tomorrow, but if not it will have to be Monday (I am away at the weekend). Whenever I get the post up, one thing is for certain - it's going to be intense! P.S Those of you that are waiting on Jeremy Steele to reply, he is an NPC so you can write your own dialogue for him if you want. Your choice!
