I have something of something that was something... It's impossible to tell what this something is unless you are willing to provide at least some minimal details for those on the forum to help you. what is the genre -- young adult, romance, sci- fi, horror, mystery... a plot should jack trade the cow for the magic beans if he does so what will happen... who is for it ... who is against this if he doesn't do it what will happen ... who is for it ... who is against this he trades... are the beans actually magical? if they are what will this lead to if they aren't then what happens he doesn't trade... does he get a fair price for the cow if he does what will he do next if he doesn't will this cause a problem? btw welcome to the forum... obviously, you are stuck somewhere can you define what the sticking point is... i.e character motivation, unresolved plot hole, unable to connect two or more scenes can you provide a generic description of the story ... ... it's occurring in some future time period where my character needs to decide between the two evils i.e. sacrifice an innocent child for the many or allow the child to live and condemn the many to their fate. --- how do I insert a hope for an alternate solution, without it being cliche?
