A question of weather to lengthen a turn, and skip the others.

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Cave Troll, Mar 25, 2018.

So kinda what has me kinda hold up, is whether I could simply skip Graxis for
a bit since he is kinda mortally wounded and down for the count at the present,
and well Marckus is brooding in a dark metal box as a prisoner undergoing severe
    psych/physical torture intermittently.

So I suppose my question is:
Would it be ok to simply extend Corlixias breaking and entering + rescue mission
part of the plot, since the other two are kinda inactive at the current point in the
    story?
Is that something that would be acceptable to do to keep the story moving forward,
when there is little the other characters could really do to move the narrative along,
    given their standstill in action?

Thoughts and Opinions, please and thank you.

No one wants to read excessively about the same thing. I think you'd be safe skipping them until they're doing something again. Just don't forget to say that they are wounded and taken as a prisoner.

If some of the characters are snowed in or trapped by the floods then sure, follow the people who are making hay while the sun shines.

Already ahead of the game on that one.
