There are those stories, movies and series that are so good or capture your soul and refuse to let it go... That makes you wonder...Damp! I wish I've written that! I'm abit of a sucker for what DC has done with the Mad Hatter character in Batman TAS...(As a matter of fact my short story on wattpad "To: Lynch: Perchance to dream"...the main character is based a little bit on Jervis Tetch!) Something within me say man i wish i've done this kind of tale.... Do you have any of those references?? If so what major story or character you love that you wished that you've written yourself??
I would, however, suggest you not let your attention to the comedic insane ruin the more nobler aspects or characters of your writing. Just sayin'.
Awesome! Then you might get one hell of a kick out of my short story.... (Wattpad - To: Lynch: Perchance to dream (Dr. Pamela Rose interview) Cheers...Be blessed!
I think any favorite story is a story that you wish you could've written but if I had to pick just one: Zootopia. The blatantly fantastic world that made no apologies for the unrealism, the fact that police "busy-work" like investigating tax evasion was shown to be just as important as the flashier car chases, the perfect showcase about how an entire population's bigotry against another entire population of innocents is more damaging than any one villain on their own can ever be, the heartbreak when well-meaning protagonist realizes that she only made the problem worse, the initially-humerous running gag becoming plot-relevant at the most magnificent time possible Spoiler The blood-curling terror when you think the good guy was just brainwashed into doing something horrifying that he's going to hate himself for as soon as he wakes up And of course the jokes about Frozen and Breaking Bad I loved Frozen better as a viewer, but I loved Zootopia better as a writer.
