I am glad to hear you are going back in the hospital. Please don't change your mind on that.

I wish you all the best AbleArcher and hope you find your way back here some day soon.

I came to this thread after seeing that you had posted in this thread GingerCoffee, hoping it wasn't you. Glad you're still with us.

You take care, and I hope you keep in touch with us. Good for recognising you need help again. It's a long, hard fight, but it's worth winning. We'll be here, so keep in touch if and when you feel like it, and let us know how you're getting on. And do some writing, if you can. Best wishes.

You had just posted your first piece. You're definitely gonna come back, you still have a chorus to finish!

Take care and don't give in.

I am glad you posted this. As someone who's been there (in my own way, on my own journey), I know it's hard! I wish you the best and I hope that you find what truly gives you meaning and connection. I hope can find true relief for your pain. Do remember that though it may feel like the only resolution, it hurts more for us left here. I can't tell you how heartbreaking it is to hear of someone who has followed through, even if I didn't know them.

The better days are yet to come
Tell me what you running from?
    No one
    I'm running to the lights
    Running cause I'm young
    Running to the city
    Running cause I'm dumb
    I'm running, I'm running
    I'm running, I'm running … from them

Able I don't know you and I don't know your situation and there is every chance you will never read this. I have been there and I suspect a lot of people here have, and the only thing I can say is that when you are in the deepest pits, even if it is for months, remember that it is experience and it shapes you. Depression and suicide are often seen by those who have not suffered as a curable, I see it as a crucible. If you pass through you are a better writer for it. Remember that you shape your legacy and if there is nothing left for you, at least you can write. Some of the greatest authors were suicidal, and who knows how many we have lost due to suicide. Don't be one of those who took peace as the best option, remember that peace will come to all eventually and you may as well stick it out for a while and write some brilliant uncompromising prose in the meantime.

I wish you all the best, lots of love from one anonymous sufferer to another
